Acceleration Program

The SUCool Acceleration Program is an intensive acceleration program aimed at helping early-stage technology entrepreneurs refine their ideas and develop their product, business model, and go-to-market strategy. Run by SUCool, Sabancı University's entrepreneurship and incubation center, the program accelerates their growth journey through training, mentorship, networking, and investment-focused support. Startups that complete the program are eligible to apply for TÜBİTAK BiGG Investment capital support.

Programın hedefi

At the end of 3 months, we aim for startups to have:

  • A validated problem-customer definition,
  • A clear value proposition and product direction,
  • A working business model and go-to-market roadmap,
  • A preparation kit for investor presentations and investment/grant processes.

How does the program proceed?

Duration: 12 weeks (3 months)
Format: Hybrid + in-person sessions (SU Altunizade Digital Campus and online)
Focus: Business model validation for early-stage startups, preparing them for incorporation and initial investment.

Startups that complete the program and are deemed suitable are directed to the BiGG Masters process, conducted in collaboration with Sabancı University SUCool, Inovent A.Ş., and Marmara Technopark, to better prepare them for the TÜBİTAK BiGG Investment application.

Mentoring and coaching

Startups are matched with expert mentors and coaches based on their technology field, sector, and needs. Regular meetings clarify goals, track progress, and support teams at critical decision-making points.

Trainings and workshops

We design our trainings not as a "lecture-and-go" format, but so that you work through your own startup. Our goal is to help you produce tangible results in areas such as problem and customer definition, product-market fit, business model, pricing, sales, and investor presentations.

Community and Work Environment

Throughout the program, we provide startups with the opportunity to actively use the SUCool incubation center and workspaces located by the lake on Sabancı University's Tuzla Campus. Natural interaction develops between teams working in the same environment, while continuous communication and information sharing are encouraged within the SUCool community. Furthermore, you can quickly access the information you need by regularly contacting the program team and other startups through the online community.

Preparing for investment and BiGG.

Together with Sabancı University's investment and technology transfer company, Inovent A.Ş., we take a holistic approach to company formation and investment processes. Within the scope of our "BiGG Masters" project, we conduct one-on-one sessions with suitable startups on business plans, financial projections, and TÜBİTAK application documents.

Investor Access and Demo Day

Throughout the program, we bring startups together with investors through investor meetings, thematic events, vertical sessions, and one-on-one meetings. Regularly organized Demo Days and ecosystem gatherings support the concretization of investment and collaboration opportunities and the rapid transformation of feedback into action.

Infrastructure and International Cooperation

Startups can benefit from Sabancı University's research and prototyping infrastructure. We offer access to various facilities, primarily the Nanotechnology Research and Application Center, the KORDSA Composite Materials Center of Excellence, and the Collaboration Space FabLab. We support global business development and international connections through our European Business Network and various collaborations.

Post-Incorporation Support

For startups that incorporate through BiGG Masters after completing the program, we offer 2 years of free office space within Marmara Technopark. Following incorporation, startups continue to receive support through the SUCool community and network for investment processes, further government support, and growth needs.

From the past to the present

Sabancı University SUCool, which started as a pre-incubation program in 2014, and Sabancı University Inovent Inc., established in 2006, have been actively working with startups for many years. To date, we have directly played a role in the incorporation and growth journey of over 300 startups; we support startups in the commercialization of innovation-based technologies, international business development, and investment processes.
